Rogerio Boo

Rogerio Boo is a Brazilian filmmaker, screenwriter and director whose work combines psychological storytelling, poetic imagery and striking visual aesthetics. After a distinguished 25-year career in advertising—earning more than 40 international awards, including a Silver Lion at Cannes Lions and the Grand Prix at El Ojo de Iberoamérica—he transitioned into filmmaking to create stories that challenge, move and resonate across cultures.
His films have been screened at more than 60 international festivals, winning awards in the United States, Italy, Chile and Brazil, and were featured at the United Nations as part of the SDGs Film Challenge. His latest film, Call Center, premiered at Fantaspoa and is represented internationally by Seven Palms Entertainment.
Rogerio is currently developing his debut feature, US, whose screenplay received an Honourable Mention at the Cabíria Award. He is also co-producing his second feature filme, the Brazilina/Italian Fatebenefratelli, whose screenplay was selected for the Scriptapalooza Top 100 and the BlueCat Screenplay Competition. He is currently completing a new medium-length film shot in Nairobi, Kenya.
