Rita Ansone is a Latvian visual artist and photographer known for capturing atmospheric beauty, subtle visual details, and moments that exist between reality and fantasy. Trained in Riga and having exhibited across major European cities - including London, Bristol, Brussels, and Lisbon - her work spans fine art, fashion, and documentary storytelling.
Rather than relying on heavy digital manipulation, Ansone emphasizes natural tonality and light to evoke a sense of quiet mystery

and authenticity. Early in her career, her solo exhibitions in London featured photography presented on canvas, highlighting her interest in texture and physical presence. Today, based in Lisbon, she also contributes her visual eye as a photographer and crew member for the docu-series People of Lisbon, documenting the capital's diverse residents and evolving urban identity.
This feature highlights eight photographs reflecting her focus on illumination, mood, and human presence - offering an exclusive preview before our in-depth interview with Rita Ansone is published in our upcoming September issue.
